Chill Mode Records is excited to announce that Last Soul Descendents has been nominated for the 2010 Houston Press Awards for the category of Best R&B/Funk/Soul. It’s been 6 years since our last nomination for the 2004 Houston Press Awards Best R&B/Funk/Soul and Best Producer, which we won the Best Producer category. Chill Mode Records is releasing a new compilation called Sanctuary of Sound, due out late Summer. It’s been 5 years since the last CMR compilation, Progressive Tranquility, so it’s way overdue. Sanctuary of Sound is featuring some of the very talented artists that have been featured in past compilations and a few new talented artists that have done us the honor of being part of CMR.
